Located in the small village of Walnut, Illinois. This would be a great place to film.  The home is located just blocks from the village cemetery and only a few miles from several rural older cemeteries. Any of which would add a nice scene to your film. 

 

Your film crew could enjoy breakfast, lunch, and or dinner from several restaurants, only a block from the house.  

 

If you need any churces for your film there are 5 in town, most of which are only a few blocks from the house. 

 

We have had one small film company use a few of our rooms for their horror/thriller movie and they loved the look and feel of the place, their exact words were "perfect!".  

 

 

More about the home, it is currently set up as a duplex (upper and lower units) it also features an attic, and full basement. The attic is un used at this time, has not floor but your company can place one down if needed, or I could  with some notice. 

 

The basement has some large natural stones/boulders  for part of the walls (upp ections of foundation) bottom portions are concrete. Also has some cement block and brick walls. Most floors are concrete, but there is one small section (old coal room that was removed) has brick floor. 

 

Home has boiler heat with original radiators.
